Apostle Tawana Thompson, a native of Queens, New York, is the Establishmentarian and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Access Church in Kenilworth, New Jersey, Founder of the Kingdom Alignment Network (K.A.N.), and Visionary of the Kingdom Apostolic & Prophetic Academy (KAP Academy). A trusted apostolic voice, spiritual architect, and kingdom strategist, she has dedicated more than three decades to building, aligning, and activating God’s people with clarity, order, and power. Affectionately known as “Apostle T,” she carries a distinctive grace for reaching the overlooked, the wounded, and the spiritually displaced—reviving them with truth, compassion, and apostolic wisdom. Her ministry is defined by one reality: if you never remember her name, you will never forget the experience.
Her journey in ministry began in her youth when she surrendered her life to Christ at New Greater Bethel Ministries under the leadership of Bishop John H. Boyd, Sr. She later joined Beginning A New Fellowship under Pastor Prophet Andre Cook, where she was ordained as a Minister. After relocating to New Jersey, she joined Deliverance Jesus Is Coming under Bishop James H. Everett, who commissioned her as an Evangelist. In 2008, under the spiritual covering of Apostle Carolyn L. Hicks of Deliverance Jesus Is Coming Victory Center, she founded and was installed as Pastor of Truth Ministries International in Newark, New Jersey. A decade later, in 2018, she relaunched and renamed the ministry to Kingdom Access, marking a new era of apostolic leadership, alignment, and expansion. In 2022, her apostolic mantle was formally affirmed and commissioned by Apostle Ty Watts of Pente Faith Assembly of Churches, which sharpened her vision and confirmed her apostolic office.
Apostle Tawana is uniquely graced as a prophetic midwife and apostolic instructor, equipping prophets and leaders in order, discipline, and healthy church culture. She cultivates strong apostolic and prophetic environments, restores identity and confidence, and strengthens intercessors, pastors, and emerging leaders. Her transparent, truth-centered voice has become a lifeline for those navigating the hidden pressures of ministry, empowering them not only to endure but to rebuild, stand, and steward destiny with integrity and maturity.
Her ministry extends deeply into the community. She has led emergency overnight warming stations for the unhoused, coordinated Hurricane Sandy relief and mobilization efforts, partnered with Feed the Children to provide regional food distribution, and engaged in strategic urban missions and hands-on community development. She carries the Ezekiel 37 mandate—to speak life to dry bones until they rise as an exceeding great army—and her work consistently reflects this calling.
Apostle Tawana is the host of “The Lunchtime Charge,” a weekly broadcast known for releasing prophetic insight, encouragement, and practical wisdom to listeners across regions. She is the author of The Wine Press: The Making of a Quality Leader, a transformational resource that guides leaders through the crushing, refining, and maturation required for excellence in ministry.
Now residing in the Raleigh–Durham region of North Carolina, Apostle Tawana continues to lead, mentor, teach, and build across regions. Whether she is equipping leaders through KAP Academy, strengthening pastors and churches through K.A.N., preaching the Word of the Lord, or engaging communities with compassion and strategy, her mission remains steadfast and unshakable: to equip God’s people—while God Himself builds His church.
